The 'Eat Ann Arbor' Crew

This is our wonderful group of food fanatics whose work helped make this site materialize into something real.

Antonia L. Eliason

Antonia is a U of M student majoring in computer science and cell & molecular biology while doing a minor in Eastern European history. Some call her crazy. She loves eating, and gets very grumpy and may even bite when not fed regularly. Her favorite food might appear to be pizza, but she actually likes everything and just happens to eat pizza a lot since she's a college student. She likes gourmet cheeses and pat?s, as well as wine with exquisite bouquets.

She was responsible for the layout and design of this page, so if it doesn't look nice, blame her. Antonia also is responsible for a lot of the editorial reviews since she has eaten at more Ann Arbor restaurants than anyone she knows. Surprisingly, she weighs less than 200 lbs, especially since she doesn't remember the last time she exercised and is proud of it.

Antonia likes cooking, tripping over wires and looking at her nice, new, expensive rollerblades. She also likes talking about her bowel movements to all who will listen, as well as that time she had dysentery.

Michael S. Post

Mike graduated from U of M in April, 2001 with an art degree. Since then, he has spent a lot of time downloading mp3s and movies and trying to live off spaghetti as much as possible. The rest of his time is spent smoking.

Some of Mike's drawings are absolutely amazing, and he makes really awesome webpages. Take a look at his personal page here. He helped a lot in the synthesis of ideas for the design of the page, advising Antonia in how the design process works. He also contributed editorial reviews for the site.

Mike likes video games, cheap food, and doesn't like spending much money. He can sometimes be found at Borders reading books. Mike has been known to sleep for over 24 hrs straight, and as such he stands high in the opinions of college students. Mike dislikes children and all things associated with them. He can be rather surly at times, and is the pessimist of the crew.

Ryan K. Evans

Despite his appearance, Ryan is older than 4. Ryan is actually a 5th year senior, hoping to finish his degree in computer science at the end of this year. He is an awesome programmer, as well as liking food, and has only taken so long to graduate because he doesn't like taking French.

Ryan does not, however, have anything against French food.

All of the scripts that drive this page and make it actually useful were written by Ryan, and without him this site would merely be a figment of our imaginations. He is also responsible for the excellent software applications that can be found at his site www.big-o-software.com.

Ryan likes fishing, and eating Japanese food. He also likes sleeping, procrastinating, and making fun of vegetarians. By himself, Ryan is capable of consuming a twelve-pack of mountain dew in one day.

Scott Shumaker

Scott graduated from U of M in April, 2001, with an Honors degree in computer science. Shortly thereafter, he took a job at Outrage, a game company, as a programmer.

Scott's programming skills are legendary, and he has been known to blow off interviewers at such illustrious places as Microsoft when he felt they were wrong.

In a way, Scott is the inspiration for this site - as a man who orders more delivery than anyone ever, he suggested the idea in a fit of wrath at not being able to find anything interesting to eat. He sponsored us, being an employed man and thus comparatively wealthy, by providing computer components for Ryan to set up our server with. Scott also contributed some editorial reviews for the site, being quite the gourmet.

Scott works out several times each week to make up for the inactivity of the rest of the crew. He also likes video games, goat cheese and showering.
